Frequently Asked Questions |
Q.1. Do I have to pay a deposit?
It varies: on UK supplied vehicles we request a minimal deposit
of £200, merely as confirmation of your order. For vehicles being
imported we have to forward various levels of deposit to the continental
supplier, we therefore take this and transfer it across as soon as
it is received. Included within the deposit taken for imported cars
is an allowance for VAT as we have a duty to pay UK VAT on imported
vehicles deposits.

Q.2. How do I know the deposit I have paid is secure?
Bearing in mind the minimal amount taken for UK supplied cars,
we confirm receipt of your monies as requested. However, for imported
cars, we can forward copies of the International Funds Transfer confirmation
in order to verify that we do not hold your money.

Q.3. Are imported cars the same
specification as UK supplied ones?
Normally, yes but this cannot always be guaranteed. Should there
be any differences we would advise you. All imported cars now come
with a 2 years Manufacturers Warranty under EEC laws.

Q.4 Are there any downsides
to importing a car?
Not really, but one has to be careful
with the specification chosen, ensuring an allowance for exchange
rate fluctuations is made and getting it registered with the UK Distributors
Warranty programme as soon as registration as possible.

Q.5.Do you arrange finance?
We are Licensed Credit Brokers and can
therefore arrange most forms of finance suitable to your personal
requirements, ranging from Contract Hire for company vehicles through
to Hire Purchase with large final payments (to reduce the monthly
outgoings) and everything in between. We have over 15 years experience
in this side of the business.

Q.6. Can you assist
with insurance?
We are not Insurance Brokers, but we have
contacts with several companies whom we have dealt with in the past
and who we have found very competitive. We do not make any commissions
from these companies. This is an added value service we offer in order
to assist our clients as best we can.

Q.7. How will my new vehicle
be delivered to me?
Generally by transporter to an agreed
destination, however, should you need the car more quickly than we
can obtain transport for it, then we might ask your permission to
have one of our drivers drive it to your required destination.

Q.8. You state you offer
impartial advice, how can I be sure of this?
It is a big claim to make, but because
we do not have a franchised dealership and supply most makes and models
of cars and vans, we can offer honest, unbiased advice. Also with
our finance knowledge we can advise of the pros and cons for the different
types of funding to ensure that your hard earned cash is used as efficiently
as possible.
